ያኮረፈ ምሳው እራቱ ነው

Meaning

This proverb shows that a person who holds a grudge or sulks harms themselves. Someone who misses their lunch due to anger or resentment might be forced to eat their lunch at dinner time, which is out of sync and improper. The meaning is that anger or stubbornness deprives a person of opportunities or wastes their time and chances.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው ቂም ይዞ ወይም አኩርፎ የሚኖር ሰው ከራሱ ጥቅም እንደሚጎዳ ነው። በቁጣ ወይም በንዴት ምክንያት የምሳ ሰዓቱን ያጣ ሰው ምሽት ላይ ምሳውን ለመብላት ሊገደድ ይችላል፣ ይህም ከሰዓቱና ከሥርዓቱ ውጭ ነው። ትርጉሙም ንዴት ወይም ግትርነት አንድን ሰው ከእድል እንደሚያሳጣው ወይም ጊዜውንና እድሎቹን እንደሚያባክን ነው።
