ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያመለክተው ድሃ ሰው ሁልጊዜም ችግር እንዳለበት እና ምንም እንኳን ሌላ ሰው የከፋ ህመም ወይም ችግር ቢደርስበትም፣ ድሃው ሰው የራሱን ችግር ብቻ እንደሚናገር ወይም እንደሚያስቀድም ነው። የድሃ ሰው ችግር ዘርፈ ብዙና ዘላቂ እንደሆነ የሚያሳይ ሲሆን፣ የሌሎችን ችግር የመረዳት አቅም እንደሌለው ያሳያል።
