“A foolish person went on a reconnaissance mission, and when food was offered to him, he said 'I am on reconnaissance' and rested.”
Meaning
This proverb illustrates the foolishness of someone who misinterprets or misprioritizes their responsibilities. A foolish person, sent on a critical mission, uses their duty as an excuse to avoid work and indulge in comfort (eating and resting), highlighting the shirking of responsibility under false pretenses.
