“A stubborn person cannot be talked to, a flood's fullness cannot be crossed.”
Meaning
Some things are inherently impossible or futile to deal with. Just as one cannot reason with a truly stubborn person, or cross a raging, full flood, there are situations or individuals that defy persuasion or overcoming.
