Meaning

This proverb suggests that things of true value, inherent goodness, or truth (like a treasure) will eventually overcome obstacles and manifest themselves. Conversely, bad things, misfortunes, or things lacking substance (like a curse or a worthless object) will ultimately fade away, be forgotten, or disappear. It speaks to the enduring nature of what is genuinely good versus the transient nature of what is bad or insignificant.
