“A gourd and a stone fighting, a servant and a master arguing, it is impossible.”
Meaning
This proverb highlights situations of extreme power imbalance, suggesting that certain confrontations or relationships are inherently futile and disadvantageous for the weaker party. Just as a gourd cannot win against a stone, a servant cannot truly contend with a master; such struggles are impossible to resolve fairly or favorably for the weaker side.
