ሽሮ ቢደነፋ እንጀራ እስኪቀርብ ነው

Meaning

This proverb means that if a minor or secondary thing or person boasts excessively, their pride lasts only until the better, main thing arrives. When the main thing comes, the minor one is forgotten.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ ማለት አንድ ትንሽ ወይም ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ያለው ነገር ወይም ሰው እራሱን ከልክ በላይ ሲያጋንነው ወይም ሲኮራ፣ የተሻለውና ዋናው ነገር እስኪመጣ ድረስ ብቻ ነው ኩራቱ። ዋናው ሲመጣ ትንሹ ይረሳል።
