እወቁኝ ደብቁኝ

Meaning

This saying describes a person's complex desire or personality. They want recognition; they want people to know who they are, but at the same time, they want to maintain their privacy or secrecy. It describes a middle ground, neither complete public exposure nor complete hiddenness.

ይህ አባባል የአንድን ሰው ውስብስብ ባህሪ ወይም ምኞት ያሳያል። እውቅናን ይፈልጋል፣ ሰዎች ማንነቱን እንዲያውቁ ይፈልጋል፣ ነገር ግን በተመሳሳይ ጊዜ ግላዊነቱን ወይም ሚስጥራዊነቱን መጠበቅ ይፈልጋል። ሙሉ ለሙሉ ለሕዝብ መጋለጥን ወይም ሙሉ ለሙሉ መደበቅን ሳይሆን መሃል ላይ ያለ ሁኔታን ይገልጻል።
