ይህ አባባል የሚያሳየው ደግና ቸር የሆነ ሰው እንኳን በተደጋጋሚ ክፉ ነገር ሲደርስበት ወይም ሲበደል ባህሪው ሊለወጥና ክፉ ሊሆን እንደሚችል ነው። የሰው ልጅ ተፈጥሮ ገደብ እንዳለውና ከልክ በላይ ሲበደል ምላሽ እንደሚሰጥ ይገልጻል።
