ይህ አባባል አንዳንድ ነገሮች መጀመሪያ ላይ ቀላል ቢመስሉም ወይም ከጊዜ በኋላ ሊረሱ የሚችሉ ቢመስሉም፣ በተቃራኒው እየቆዩ ሲሄዱ ህመማቸውና መዘዛቸው እየባሰ እንደሚሄድ ያሳያል። የእናት ሞት ሀዘኑ ዘላቂ መሆኑን ሲገልጽ፣ በእግር ላይ ያለ እሳት ቁስሉ እየባሰ እንደሚያንገበግብ ያሳያል። የማይድን ወይም እውነተኛ ህመም ያለው ነገር ከጊዜ ጋር እንደማይጠፋ ያሳያል።
