Meaning

This proverb indicates that a person who brings someone into a place or situation, when that person gains power or influence in that place, might turn around and expel or harm the original person to serve their own interests. In short, it implies that those who bring someone to power can, in turn, be harmed by them or can remove that person from power.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው አንድ ሰው ወደ አንድ ቦታ ወይም ሁኔታ ያመጣው ሰው፣ በዚያ ቦታ ላይ ስልጣን ወይም ተፅዕኖ ሲኖረው፣ የራሱን ፍላጎት ለማስፈፀም የመጀመሪያውን ሰው መልሶ ሊያባርረው ወይም ሊጎዳው እንደሚችል ነው። በአጭሩ፣ አንድን ሰው ወደ ስልጣን ያመጡት ሰዎች በተራቸው በሱ ሊጎዱ እንደሚችሉ ወይም ያን ሰው ከስልጣን ሊያስወጡት እንደሚችሉ ያመለክታል።
