ቀንበር ታርቆ ጣውንት ታርቆ ምን ይሆናል

Meaning

This proverb suggests that if even inherently antagonistic or rivalrous entities (like two oxen under a yoke, or co-wives who are often in competition) can find a way to reconcile and coexist, then there should be even greater hope and possibility for other less conflicted relationships to achieve peace and agreement. It encourages reconciliation in all circumstances.

በተፈጥሮአቸው እርስ በርስ የሚጋጩ ወይም የሚፎካከሩ ነገሮች (እንደ ቀንበር ወይም እንደ እርስ በርስ የሚቀናቀኑ ጣውንቶች) እንኳ ከተስማሙና ከተዋደዱ፣ ታዲያ በቀላሉ ሊታረቁ የሚችሉ ሰዎች እንዴት አይታረቁም የሚል ትርጉም አለው። እርቅና ስምምነት የሁሉ ነገር መፍትሄ መሆኑን ያሳያል።
