የሀምሌ ብራ የባልቴት ወብራ

Meaning

This proverb compares two fleeting or unreliable phenomena. The lightning in Hamle (a rainy month) is brief, and the 'beauty' of an old woman is seen as superficial or temporary. It suggests that certain things are ephemeral, unreliable, or not as substantial as they might appear, often implying a deceptive or temporary nature.
