Meaning

This proverb suggests that when a highly improbable or impossible event is predicted, while it may not happen literally or fully, there might still be some resemblance or a partial manifestation of it. However, the ultimate catastrophic outcome (death or complete destruction) will not necessarily occur. It implies that while expectations might be wildly off, the worst-case scenario can often be avoided.
