ዲያቢሎስ በክፋቱ ተወጋ ዳቢቱ

Meaning

This proverb indicates that evil and malicious deeds ultimately harm or strike back at the perpetrator themselves. It is used to explain that people's bad actions return to them, and they destroy themselves due to their own wickedness. The word 'dabitu' is an intensifying addition, signifying the severity of the self-inflicted harm.

ይህ ምሳሌ ክፋትና የተንኮል ተግባር በመጨረሻው ሰዓት አድራጊውን ራሱን እንደሚጎዳ ወይም እንደሚመታ ያመለክታል። የሰዎች መጥፎ ድርጊት ወደ እነርሱ ራሳቸው እንደሚመለስና በክፋታቸው ምክንያት ራሳቸውን እንደሚያጠፉ ለመግለጽ ያገለግላል። 'ዳቢቱ' የሚለው ቃል የጥቃት ጥንካሬን የሚያሳይ ተጨምሪ ቃል ነው።
