ያገኘ ከራሱ ያጣ ከዋሱ

Meaning

ይህ ምሳሌ አንድ ችሎታ ያለውና ብልህ ሰው በራሱ ጥረትና ችሎታ ስኬትን እንደሚያገኝ ያመለክታል። አቅም የሌለው ወይም የጎደለው ሰው ግን የጎደለውን ለማግኘት ወይም ስራውን ለማሳካት በሌላ ሰው (በዋስ) ላይ መተማመን እንዳለበት ያሳያል።
