Meaning

This proverb is often used humorously or ironically when someone appears or arrives precisely at the moment they are being discussed or thought about. It is the Amharic equivalent of the English idiom 'speak of the devil.'

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ ብዙውን ጊዜ በአስቂኝ ሁኔታ ጥቅም ላይ ይውላል። አንድ ሰው ሲወሳ ወይም ሲታሰብበት በትክክል ብቅ ሲል ወይም ሲመጣ የሚነገር ነው። ልክ እንደ "በበጎች መንጋ ውስጥ ተኩላ" ወይም "የሚቀልድ ሳይሆን የሚመጣ" አይነት ነው።
