ይህ ብሂል አንድ ነገር ከተከሰተ በኋላ ከንቱ የሆነ መከላከያ ወይም እርምጃ የሚወስዱ ሰዎችን ያፌዝበታል። እርግዝና ከደረሰ በኋላ ክታብ መያዝ ወይም ፈስ ከተለቀቀ በኋላ መቀመጫን መያዝ፣ ከንቱ ድርጊትን ወይም ጊዜ ያለፈበትን እርምጃ ያመለክታል። ነገሮች ከተበላሹ በኋላ የሚደረግ ከንቱ ጥረት ማለት ነው።
