ይህ ብሂል የሚያመለክተው አንድ ሰው እውን ሊሆን በማይችል ወይም እጅ በማይገባ ነገር ላይ ተስፋ ሲጥል ነው። የሌለ ወይም ተጨባጭነት የሌለው ሀብት ወይም ጥቅም እንዳለው ማሰብ፣ ነገር ግን ከሱ ምንም አይነት ፍሬ ማግኘት አለመቻሉን ያሳያል። ከልክ ያለፈ ቅዠትና ከእውነታ የራቀ አስተሳሰብን ይገልጻል።
