ባርያና ቃርያ ጌታውን እንዳቃጠለ ይኖራል

Meaning

This proverb implies that both a slave (who may harbor resentment) and a hot pepper (which causes a burning sensation) inherently cause discomfort or trouble for their 'master.' It suggests that certain relationships or possessions, even if controlled, will inevitably bring distress, resentment, or a burdensome consequence to the person in charge.
