ሚስቱን ጠልቶ ካማቱ ልጁን ከሶ ካባቱ

✦

“Hating his wife, he went to her mother; suing his child, he went to his father.”

Meaning

This proverb illustrates the futility and counterproductiveness of seeking a resolution or justice from the very source or people who are part of the problem. Hating one's wife and going to her mother for a solution, or suing one's child and appealing to one's own father, highlights a misguided approach to conflict resolution, where one directs their efforts to an inappropriate or ineffective authority, thereby exacerbating the issue.
