Meaning

This proverb questions the efficacy of giving advice when the recipient is at either extreme of intelligence. ይህ ምሳሌ ለአንድ ሰው ምክር መስጠት ምን ያህል ከንቱ ሊሆን እንደሚችል ይገልጻል። ብልህ ሰው ቀድሞውንም ሊያውቀው ስለሚችል ወይም በቀላሉ ስለሚረዳው፣ ሞኝ ደግሞ ምንም ያህል ቢነገረው ስለማይገባው፣ ምክር መስጠት ፋይዳ እንደሌለው ያሳያል።
