ህዳር መማረሪያ ሰኔ መቃጠሪያ

Meaning

This proverb depicts the Ethiopian calendar and agricultural cycle. Hidar (November) is when the rainy season ends, harvest begins, farmers get a break from intense labor, and schools traditionally start. Sene (June) is a period of heavy rainfall and intense farming work. Thus, Hidar is a time for learning and leisure, while Sene is a time of hard work and struggle to produce food for the next year. It shows the significance of time and the assigned periods for different activities.

ይህ ብሂል የኢትዮጵያን የጊዜና የግብርና ዑደት የሚያሳይ ነው። ህዳር የዝናብ ወቅት አብቅቶ የመኸር ጊዜ የሚጀመርበት፣ ገበሬዎች ከስራ እረፍት የሚያገኙበት እና ትምህርት ቤት የሚጀመርበት ወር ነው። ሰኔ ደግሞ የከፍተኛ ዝናብ እና ከባድ የእርሻ ስራ ወቅት ነው። ስለዚህ ህዳር የመማሪያና የመዝናኛ ጊዜ ሲሆን፣ ሰኔ ደግሞ ለቀጣዩ አመት ምግብ ለማምረት የሚደረግ የከባድ ስራና የትግል ጊዜ መሆኑን ይገልጻል። የጊዜን ትርጉምና ለነገሮች የተመደበውን ጊዜ ያሳያል።
