ድሀ ሲቀማጠል ከወገቡ ቀምጠል

Meaning

If a poor person attempts to live beyond their means or flaunt wealth they don't possess, they will ultimately face severe financial ruin or collapse. 'Breaking from the waist' symbolizes a complete and painful downfall due to unsustainable pretense.

ትርጉም

ድሀ ሰው ከአቅሙ በላይ ለመኖር ወይም ሀብታም ለመምሰል ሲሞክር፣ በመጨረሻ ከባድ የገንዘብ ችግር ወይም ጥፋት እንደሚገጥመው ይገልጻል። 'ከወገቡ ቀምጠል' ማለት የችግሩ ክብደት ሙሉ በሙሉ እንደሚያጠፋው ወይም ውሸቱ እንደሚገለጥ ያመለክታል።
