የሞኝ ገበሬ እርሻ በሰኔ

Meaning

Sene (June) is typically when the heavy rainy season begins in Ethiopia, a time when farmers should have already prepared their fields and started planting. Beginning to plough at this time is a sign of foolish procrastination. The proverb advises against delaying essential tasks and highlights the folly of untimely actions.
