ነቢይ ባገሩ አይከበርም

Meaning

This proverb illustrates that no matter how great a person is, they do not receive acceptance and honor among their own people or in their familiar environment. Often, their own relatives or local people find it difficult to accept their abilities or goodness. This reflects the saying of Jesus.
