ተጋበዙና ብሉ ሀይ በሉ ከልክሉ

Meaning

This proverb describes a hypocritical or opportunistic behavior where someone first partakes in and enjoys a benefit or generosity (being invited and eating), and then, after having benefited themselves, attempts to prevent or forbid others from doing the same, or criticizes the very act from which they profited.

ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው መጀመሪያ አንድን ነገር ተጠቅሞ ወይም ተጋብዞ ተመግቦ ከጨረሰ በኋላ፣ ሌሎችን ያንን እንዳያደርጉ ሲከለክል ወይም ያንን ሁኔታ ሲያወግዝ የሚያሳይ ነው። ግብዝነትን ወይም የራስ ወዳድነትን ባህሪ ያሳያል።
