ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው የሰዎችን ወሬ በጥንቃቄ ማዳመጥ እንደሚያስፈልግ ነው። ሰዎች ስለሌላው ሰው መጥፎ ነገር ሲናገሩ፣ አድማጩ ከዛ ሰው ጋር ግንኙነት ያለው ወይም የራሱ ሁኔታ ሊደርስበት የሚችል በመሆኑ፣ ወሬውን እንደ ማስጠንቀቂያ ወይም ግንዛቤ እንዲወስድ ይጠቁማል።
