ሚስትህ አመዳም ጎራዴህ ጎመዳም

Meaning

This proverb indicates that a person is not properly fulfilling their responsibilities and role. While the wife is busy with household chores, the husband, who should be protecting the family's safety and honor, is neglecting his duties, symbolized by his sword being used for other purposes or remaining idle.

ትርጉም

ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው የራሱን ኃላፊነትና ሚና በአግባቡ አለመወጣቱን ያመለክታል። ሚስት በቤት ውስጥ ሥራ ተጠምዳ ስትሆን፣ ባል ደግሞ የቤተሰብን ደህንነትና ክብር መጠበቅ ሲገባው፣ ጎራዴው ለሌላ ዓላማ መዋሉ ወይም ጥቅም ላይ አለመዋሉ ግዴለሽነትን ያሳያል።
