Meaning

This proverb indicates that if a person's primary need or problem is known, even if one tries to forget or hide that need with something else, they will eventually return to their main need or problem. You cannot satisfy a person by offering something superficial without solving their fundamental issue.

ይህ ብሂል የአንድ ሰው ዋነኛ ፍላጎት ወይም ችግር ምን እንደሆነ ከታወቀ፣ ያንን ፍላጎት በሌላ ነገር ለመርሳት ወይም ለመደበቅ ቢሞከርም፣ በመጨረሻ ወደ ዋናው ፍላጎቱ ወይም ችግሩ እንደሚመለስ ያመለክታል። የሰውን ዋነኛ ችግር ሳትፈታው በሌላ ነገር ልታረካው አትችልም።
