ይህ ምሳሌ ማለት ብድር መጠየቅ ከባድ ኃላፊነትና ግዴታ እንደሚያስከትል፣ ዝም ብሎ በስጦታ ወይም በምጽዋት መኖር ግን ዘላቂ መፍትሄ እንደማይሆን ያሳያል። ገንዘብ ሲበደር የተበዳሪው ዕዳ ከባድ እንደሆነና ለወደፊት ህይወቱ ላይ ጫና እንደሚፈጥር ለማመልከት ያገለግላል።
