Meaning

This proverb is used to describe someone who is caught between two things and ends up losing both. Alternatively, it refers to someone who, by trying to pursue two options at once, ends up achieving neither.

ይህ ምሳሌ በሁለት ነገሮች መካከል ተይዞ ሁለቱንም ያጣን ሰው ለማመልከት ያገለግላል። ወይንም በሁለት አማራጮች መካከል በመበታተን ምንም ሳይሳካለት የቀረ ሰው ማለት ነው።
