Meaning

This proverb indicates that when one seeks friendship or playful interaction with another, they should first ask the other to rectify any past carelessness or harm caused within that relationship. A new relationship cannot be established without correcting past mistakes.

ትርጉም

ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው ከሌላ ሰው ጋር ወዳጅነት ወይም ሳቅና ጨዋታ ሲፈልግ፣ በመጀመሪያ በዚያ ወዳጅነት ውስጥ የነበረውን ግድየለሽነት ወይም የደረሰበትን ጉዳት እንዲያርም መጠየቁን ያመለክታል። ያለፈውን ስህተት ሳያርሙ አዲስ ግንኙነት አይመሠረትም።
