ሰው ያስገድላል አባይ ውሀ ያስጮሀል ድንጋይ

Meaning

This proverb illustrates how severe and terrifying human evil and natural forces can be. Just as a person can go so far as to kill another out of wickedness, the power of the Abay (Nile) River is such that it can even make a stone groan or roar. Both show their capacity to cause extreme impact.
