ይህ ምሳሌ ደግ እና ክፉ ሰዎችን፣ በተለይም አማቾችን፣ እንዴት መያዝ እንዳለብን የሚያሳይ ንፅፅር ነው። ደጋግ አማቾች ሊከበሩና ሊደገፉ ሲገባ፣ ክፉ ወይም ችግር ፈጣሪ አማቾች በኃይል መታየት ወይም መራቅ እንዳለባቸው ይጠቁማል፣ ይህም ለጎጂ ባህሪያቸው ምንም ዓይነት ታጋሽነት እንደሌለ ያመለክታል።
