ይህ ብሂል የሚያመለክተው የአንዱ ሰው ውድቀት ወይም ጉዳት ለሌላው ሰው ጥቅም ወይም ብልጽግና መንስኤ ሊሆን እንደሚችል ነው። በተለይ በፉክክር ባለባቸው ሁኔታዎች የአንዱ ድክመት የሌላውን ጥንካሬ እንደሚገነባ ያሳያል።
