ነጻነት ያኮራል ስራ ያስከብራል

Meaning

This straightforward proverb contrasts the sense of pride derived from freedom with the respect and honor earned through diligent work. Both are desirable qualities, yet they stem from different sources: freedom is a state of being, while work is an active endeavor.
