ነገር በነገር ይወቀሳል እሾህ በሾህ ይነቀሳል

Meaning

This proverb means that complex issues or arguments are best addressed or resolved using relevant information and counter-arguments ('matter is blamed by matter'). It also implies a principle of using a similar force or tool to counteract another; just as a thorn is best removed by another thorn, a particular problem often requires a specific or analogous solution, sometimes even using one negative element to expose or solve another.
