የልጅ ልጅ እህል ፈጅ ኋላም ጅብ ያስፈጅ

This proverb suggests that grandchildren initially incur high costs (consume grain), and then, through their actions or character, can pose a threat to the family's honor and property (cause hyenas to consume - implying destruction of family and wealth). ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያመለክተው የልጅ ልጅ (የልጅ ልጆች) በመጀመሪያ ወጪያቸው ከፍተኛ እንደሆነ (እህል ፈጅ)፣ ከዚያም ደግሞ በባህሪያቸው ወይም በሚያደርጉት ነገር ለቤተሰብ ክብርና ንብረት ስጋት ሊሆኑ እንደሚችሉ (ጅብ ያስፈጅ - ቤተሰብንና ንብረትን ያጠፋል)። ማለትም ልጆችን ማሳደግ ትልቅ ኃላፊነትና ፈተና ነው።
