ጅብ ውሀ ሲጠጣ ታች ያለችውን አህያ አታደፍርሽብኝ አለ

Meaning

This proverb illustrates a situation where a powerful or malicious individual blames a weaker or innocent party for a problem they themselves created or for a non-existent issue, simply to justify their aggression or mistreatment. The hyena is upstream, so the donkey cannot possibly muddy its water. It highlights unfair accusation, baseless blame, and the abuse of power.

ይህ ብሂል አንድ ኃያል ወይም ክፉ ግለሰብ ራሱ ለፈጠረው ችግር ወይም ለሌለ ችግር ደካማ ወይም ንጹህ ወገንን እንዴት እንደሚወቅስ ያሳያል፣ ይህም ጥቃቱን ወይም መጥፎ አያያዙን ለማስረዳት ብቻ ነው። ጅቡ ከላይ ነው ያለው፣ ስለዚህ አህያው ውሃውን ሊያደፈርስበት አይችልም። ይህ ብሂል ኢፍትሃዊ ክሶችን፣ መሠረተ ቢስ ውንጀላዎችን እና የስልጣን አላግባብ መጠቀምን ያጎላል።
