ሞኝና ወረቅት የያዘውን አይለቅም
✦
“A fool and paper do not let go of what they hold.”
Meaning
This proverb means that a fool is stubbornly attached to their ideas or possessions, and written paper (or a document) once inscribed holds its content firmly. It points to both the obstinacy of foolish people and the permanence of written records.
