ሹመት በተርታ ስጋ በገበታ

Meaning

This proverb advocates for fairness, order, and proper procedure in distributing positions of authority (ሹመት) or valuable resources (like meat, which symbolizes good fortune or sustenance). It suggests that appointments should be made in a fair sequence or turn (በተርታ), and valuable things should be presented properly, like meat on a tray (በገበታ), not haphazardly.
