Meaning

This proverb describes an individual who is industrious and useful during the day, performing hard labor (like a mule), but then relaxes, enjoys leisure, or consumes the fruits of their labor in the evening (like roasted grain). ይህ ብሂል በቀን ውስጥ ጠንክሮ የሚሰራ እና ጠቃሚ (እንደ በቅሎ)፣ ነገር ግን ምሽት ላይ ስራ ፈት የሆነ፣ የሚዝናና ወይም የድካሙን ፍሬ የሚያጣጥም (እንደ ቆሎ) ሰው ያመለክታል። የሥራና የዕረፍትን ሚዛን ሊያሳይ ወይም በአንዳንድ ሰዓታት ብቻ ጠቃሚ መሆኑን ሊተች ይችላል። ብዙ ጊዜ ስለ ሚናዎች ወይም ሁኔታዎች ለውጥ ያወራል።
