ሰኔ ሰላሳ የለውም ካሳ

Meaning

This proverb refers to the fact that the Amharic month of Sene (roughly June) traditionally has 29 days, not 30. It extends this to mean that when time or opportunity is lost, there is no compensation or recovery. It emphasizes the irreversibility of time and the futility of regret for missed chances.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሰኔ ወር አጭር መሆኑን (30 ሳይሆን 29 ቀናት) የሚያመለክት ሲሆን፣ ጊዜው ካለፈ በኋላ ማንም ሊካስ እንደማይችል ያስረዳል። ካለፈ ነገር በኋላ የሚመጣ ንስሃ ወይም ጸጸት ፋይዳ እንደሌለው ያሳያል።
