ሸኝ ቤት አይገባም

Meaning

This proverb implies that someone who helps or supports others sacrifices themselves and ultimately gains no benefit. Just as the escort helps someone reach their house but doesn't enter themselves, a person who lives primarily for others often loses their own advantage.
