ለወሬ ወዳጁ ወሬ ለመነኩሴ ጥሬ

This proverb suggests that everyone seeks or receives what they are inclined towards or what suits them. A person who loves gossip will gravitate towards gossip, just as a monk would choose raw food (simple, unadorned fare appropriate for their ascetic life). It's about preference and suitability.

እያንዳንዱ ሰው የሚወደውን ወይም የሚመጥነውን ነገር እንደሚመርጥ ወይም እንደሚያገኝ ያሳያል። ወሬ የሚወድ ሰው ወሬን እንደሚፈልግ፣ መነኩሴም መንፈሳዊ ህይወቱን የሚመጥን (ጥሬ ምግብ) እንደሚመርጥ።
