እያንዳንዱ ነገር የራሱ ጥቅም አለው። ውጫዊ ገጽታ (ሻሽ) ወይም ተግባራዊ ምቾት (ማቅ) የሚመርጥ ሰው የራሱን ፍላጎትና ምን እንደሚበጀው ያውቃል። አንድ ሰው ለራሱ የሚበጀውን ነገር እራሱ ነው የሚያውቀው።
