ንፉግ ለግሶ ቢሰጥ እጁ ይንቀጠቀጥ

Meaning

This proverb signifies that even if a naturally stingy person tries to be generous, their true character doesn't align with their actions. Their hand trembling shows their reluctance or their natural disposition. This saying illustrates that it's difficult to hide one's true character, and a person doesn't easily abandon their innate traits.
