ያዛዥ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ሳሚ ያጋፋሪ ራስጌ ቋሚ

Meaning

This proverb illustrates the hierarchy and division of responsibilities within a church. "He who orders" (the commander/leader) kisses (honors) the church, signifying a superior role in religious rituals. "He who pushes/serves" stands at the headrest of the church, signifying the servant's role. Generally, it differentiates between authority and service.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ በቤተ ክርስቲያን ውስጥ ያለውን ተዋረድና የኃላፊነት ክፍፍል ያሳያል። "ያዛዥ" (አዛዥ) ቤተ ክርስቲያንን የሚሳም (የሚያከብር) ማለትም በሃይማኖታዊ ሥርዓቶች ውስጥ የበላይ የሆነውን ሚና የሚያመለክት ሲሆን፣ "ያጋፋሪ" (የሚያጋፍር/የሚያገለግል) ደግሞ የቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱን ራስጌ ቆሞ የሚያገለግል ማለትም አገልጋዩን ያመለክታል። በአጠቃላይ ስልጣንና አገልግሎትን ይለያል።
