ሳይቸግር ጤፍ ብድር መከበር በከንፈር

Meaning

This proverb describes superficiality and insincerity. Borrowing something unnecessary shows a lack of prudence or a desire to appear in need. Showing respect only through words without genuine actions or feelings is equally insincere. It's about pretense and lack of substance.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ ላዩንነትን እና ቅንነትን ማጣትን ይገልጻል። የማያስፈልግ ነገር (እንደ ጤፍ ያሉ መሠረታዊ እህል) መበደር ጥንቃቄ የጎደለው ድርጊት ወይም ራስን እንደ ችግረኛ ለማሳየት መፈለግ ነው። በእውነተኛ ተግባር ወይም ስሜት ሳይሆን በአፍ ብቻ ክብር ማሳየት እንዲሁ ቅንነት የጎደለው ነው። ይህም ግብዝነትንና የይስሙላ ድርጊትን ያመለክታል።
